This book was so fun to read. I actually tried to figure out the puzzles. It reminded me of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" because kids were eliminated from the contest. If you liked this book, try "The Puzzling World of Winston Breen." It also has word puzzles, and I found them a bit easier to solve than in "Gollywhopper Games."

Gil Goodson's father has been fired from one of the biggest toy factories in the country and now he has the chance to win a bunch of money from that company. The games are clever and fun. It is a really good book because it has an interesting plot and flows nicely. There are some funny parts and some serious parts, but the ending is peculiar.

This book was great! When Gil hears about the Gollywhopper games he gets in line
to get a ticket to play the games. In the line he meets a girl named Bianca. Later the
next day they both get into the games. They both help each other through the games.
Does Gil have what it takes to win?

This book was a real page turner! If we were to vote on which book we thought was the best, I would vote for this one. I think that everyone is judging this book by it's cover because of it's title. But they shouldn't.

This book was a page turner! I think that the most exciting part was when Gil was in the giant rainbow maze. I wondered what it would have been like to be Gil while I was reading. I wish I had been there to see it all.

The Gollywhopper Games was a fun book to read. It had so very funny parts, and it had some good brain-teasers to really stimulate your cranium (head)! It also reminded me a little of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl! If you like contests and game shows, then this book is for you! I loved it so much, I put it on our 2010 Battle of the Books list!

this was an amazing book. It had so many twists. I wouldn't have read this book if the amazing Mr.Wilson didn't put it on the battle list for 2010. This book reminds me of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
